 LAZIO Innova

 
Michela Michilli is promoter of the “ Startup Lazio” programme in Lazio Innova, the Financial Development Agency for the economic development and technological innovation of Lazio Region.
The objective of Startup Lazio is to improve, integrate, design and implement tools, instruments and financing for startups with the purpose of facilitating the creation of innovative startups, attracting new startups in Lazio and supporting startups in their scale-up process. In this respect, Michela has been coordinating TWIST DIGITAL, part of the Startup Europe initiative of the EC.
Expert in economics, finance and international markets, she has acquired a long experience in market analysis for the ICT and media, the creative industries and the cultural heritage sectors, collaborating with leading international companies and managing international projects since 1996. She was the coordinator of the European project FAME (Facilitating Access and Mobilisation of European finance for growth of creative industries), a EU CIP co-funded project under the brand-new initiative named European Creative Industry Alliance in support of the creative industries.


Laura Santarelli graduated at the faculty of Political Science (International and Community Issue) of the University of Rome, LUISS. After the degree she spent 1 year in Australia where she experienced different types of working experiences. Back in Italy, she worked for one of the biggest Italy Merchant Bank where she matured a strong experience in the field of national and regional funding schemes.She is working for Lazio Innova (former FILAS) since 2004 as project manager for EU programmes and International initiatives, with a special focus on financial instruments for SMEs and clusters. She has a sound experience and knowledge in developing and managing European project within different supporting EU programmes (Horizon 2020 FP7, CIP, FP6, Interreg, Europe AID and International Cooperation projects), especially in terms of financial planning, communication skills and organisation of international events. She is also project manager for Startups and Open Innovation Initiatives, analysing existing and new services and instruments in favour of startups.


Valentina Diana has been working since 2000 in topics related to innovation, technology transfer and economic development/territorial marketing. Graduated in political science and specialized at University of Oslo and Scuola Superiore S. Anna in Pisa. She worked for the technology transfer dept at Consorzio Pisa Ricerche and at the Italian Association for Industrial Research. In 2006 she joined as project manager,  the EU programs and International dept of  Financial Development Agency of Lazio Region (FILAS). She run EU projects under VI and VII Framework Program and CIP. With the establishment of Lazio Innova, Valentina is part of the Strategic Planning Dept for  the Startup and Open Innovation Initiatives.
