Founded one year ago, Employerland, startup financed by Lazio Innova, will open a new branch in London. In less than 12 months on Employerland  has been receiving  endorsement of  multinational companies like Luxottica, Procter & Gamble, Bosch, BNL, Golden Lady, Unilever, MSD and more than 10,000 people entered the game to compete in the City of Employerland  and  meet the company of their dreams.

“Employerland is one of the answers to the problem of job placement for young people: an emergency, not only in Italy” explains Gabriele Lizzani, CEO and founder of Employerland .

The concept of the game is simple: join the challenges online, pass tests set up by the system and raise the ranks of the best players. Companies may decide to meet the top gamer for a job interview or simply get in contact with them.
The pilot met the great interest of multinational companies and validated the project for foreign market.
In this context, the support of Startup Europe, through the activities of the TWIST project coordinated by Lazio Innova, was crucial.

During one of the webinar sessions organized by the Startup Europe, Employerland met Simone Cimminelli, CEO of the iStarter, an accelerator based in London and signed an agreement for exploring the UK markets and improve the internationalization process”.

"We strongly believe in Employerland and its ability to scale the UK market. Early findings from the UK market confirm a strong interest for the solution offered and in particular on the mobile solution. We look forward to seeing the first customers to adopt English Employerland ", explains Simone Cimminelli.

The challenges are different - Gabriele Lizzani explains: "We are going through a difficult phase of globalization and the problems to be overcome are many and complex. The first challenge is to bring all the developments on mobile and tablet.  The second one is to accelerate the process of internationalization bringing our app abroad.

London and the UK markets will be the most challenging and fascinating but we have a great partner in Simone.  Lazio Innova supported us since our beginnings and thanks Startup Europe we found a reliable and experienced partner for new markets.
We can proudly say we have found our Silicon Valley in Rome”.
