Yesterday Snapback, a startup that graduated from the LUISS ENLABS acceleration program, announced a new round of funding and to have won access to two public funds of up to €600k.

This new funding comes part from business angels and advisors, part from European funds and Invitalia, an agency of the Italian Ministry of Economy.
Snapback is developing a new, intuitive and revolutionary way to interact with smart devices. It provides a natural and powerful user experience by reinterpreting the available technology as a user-centered environment. Hence, Snapback explores new ways of communicating with our devices by enforcing simple hand, voice, and air gestures and minimizing touch and sight interactions.

Snapback adopts a sensor fusion approach empowering consumer electronics and turning smart devices into unbelievably functional tools. It makes an extensive use of sensors already available on contemporary devices and doesn’t require any additional hardware.

Snapback carries the UX to an upper level. It adopts a user-centered design thus providing always the best possible interaction.

“We are so excited that people are showing this confidence in our project – said the co-founder and CEO of the startup Giuseppe Morlino – this is such a great opportunity to grow as a company and pursue our goals. Snapback is going to face huge challenges: we will deploy our solutions to our top-priority vertical markets, which are workplace safety and automotive, both in Italy and internationally, along with our partners who are working by our side to make it possible”.
